Todd D. Williams is a dedicated litigation attorney who represents clients with skill, preparation, and attention to detail. As an Associate Attorney, Todd focuses his practice on family law matters, where he regularly advocates for individuals facing divorce, custody disputes, parenting time conflicts, child support issues, and related domestic relations proceedings.
Todd has handled cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, engaging in motion practice, conducting discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and representing clients at trial and on appeal. His hands-on experience allows him to provide practical, straightforward guidance while remaining fully prepared to litigate when necessary.
Prior to entering private practice, Todd gained broad experience across multiple litigation environments. He represented clients in both family law and criminal matters throughout southwest Ohio, building a reputation for thorough preparation and clear advocacy. Earlier in his career, Todd worked with the New York City Law Department, where he defended the City of New York against personal injury lawsuits. In that role, he conducted plaintiff depositions, drafted dispositive motions, and participated in discovery conferences, developing a disciplined and analytical approach to case development.
Todd’s perspective is further informed by his judicial experience. As a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Mitchell J. Danziger in Bronx County, New York, Todd drafted judicial decisions on petitions and summary judgment motions and observed proceedings involving complex municipal liability claims. This experience provides valuable insight into how judges analyze legal arguments and evaluate credibility—knowledge that strengthens his advocacy on behalf of his clients.
Todd earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review, a John Marshall Harlan Scholar, and a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of North Georgia and studied abroad at the University of Wroclaw in Poland. Todd is admitted to practice law in Ohio and New York.
